White House Roundup
Friday December 5, 2025
In the season of peace, as Christmas draws near, President Donald Trump continues to work to make peace in countries far away and he reminds all that this is the season where Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace came into the world.
On Thursday December 4th President Trump, the White House posted on Truth Social, joined President Kagame of Rwanda and President Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and signed the Washington Accords, a major peace deal, at the Donald Trump Institute for Peace in Washington DC.
Rwanda and the DRC have fought against each other for approximately 30 years, where President Trump has estimated millions of people have been killed over the period.
Further, in the same evening the President and First Lady participated in a Tree Lighting event near the White House and again he reminded the crowd gathered about the peace Jesus came to give to us.
As Christmas approaches the President and First Lady will be participating in more activities to bring joy to children and adults. He will definitely remind all of the season when Jesus Christ, the Lord and God came to give men peace.
