In his statement at the Banquet, President Trump thanked President Xi for his magnificent welcome during this historic state visit. He maintained that the ceremony was like no other and submitted that the two sides had positive and productive conversations.

President Trump also underscored that the State Dinner was a cherished opportunity to continue their discussions, among friends.

Meanwhile, President Xi toasted “To the bright future of China-US relations and the friendship between the two peoples, and to the health of President Trump and all of the friends present.”

Some of the Points of Agreement between the US and China

Measures to Enhance Economic Cooperation:

·       Expansion of market access for American businesses into China

·       Increase Chinese investment in US industries

·       Increase Chinese purchases of American agricultural products
