White House Press Briefing with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt
Border Security
Press Secretary Leavitt opened her Press Briefing with discussion on President Trump’s feat on securing the border where in the month of May under the Trump Administration zero illegal aliens were released into the interior of this country (in May 2025), compared to the 62,000 illegal aliens who were allowed into the US under the Biden Administration in May 2024. She described the President’s efforts to stop the illegal immigrant invasion and to secure the border in a short amount of time as one of the greatest achievements by a presidential administration history of our great country.
She also stated that the Trump Administration was dramatically ramping up efforts to arrest and deport all of the millions of criminal illegal aliens that President Biden let into the country over the past four years.
She added that President Trump has directed all of the ICE Officers to do everything in their power to carry out the single largest mass deportation operation in history.
Furthermore, Leavitt argued that illegal aliens hiding in sanctuary cities will be increasingly targeted for removal. These criminal illegal aliens, she posited, will no longer be allowed to be sheltered by Democrats as criminal illegal aliens will not be allowed to threaten public safety as part of their cynical efforts to expand political power, drain the American taxpayer, artificially lower wages and steal American jobs.
Iran
The main question is what would President Trump do? Further, another question under consideration includes whether or not the US would be directly involved in the war on the way between Israel and Iran?
This has been the overarching question in the US, in Israel and around the world. Therefore, Leavitt submitted to Journalists the following message directly from President Trump:
Based on the fact that there is a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future; he would make his decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.
She stated that for decades President Trump rejected Iran gaining possession of any nuclear weapons. She also pointed to his statement in 2011, where he insisted America’s primary goal with Iran must be to destroy its nuclear ambition; and that the US could not allow this radical regime to obtain a nuclear weapon that they will use or hand off to terrorists.
She further cited another statement President Trump had articulated also before his time in office in 2015, where at the time he had underscored a nuclear armed Iran posed an existential threat to Israel, our Middle East ally, and to the United States.
In conclusion, President Trump’s posture is Iran absolutely could not obtain a nuclear weapon.
