White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt spoke about the high achievements and plans of President Donald Trump. These included:
The President’s attendance at the 2nd White House Correspondents’ Dinner:
Leavitt opined that the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is a celebration of free speech and the First Amendment alongside the Media. She added that President Trump looks forward to attending the Dinner on Friday evening. This is Round Two given the disruptions of the first dinner following the attempted assassination on the president’s life on Saturday April 25th at the Hilton Hotel, in Washington DC.
She asked the general public to tune in for what promises to be a very entertaining and memorable evening.
The President’s Travel Plans:
On Thursday afternoon, President Trump held a Roundtable on Ratepayer Protection Pledge
at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in Washington DC.
On Monday July 27th President Trump travels to Michigan to give remarks on the economy.
On Tuesday July 28th President Trump will deliver a message in Tribute honoring the life and legacy of the Late Senator Lindsay Graham at the National Cathedral, in Washington DC.
On Friday July 31st President Trump will host the 13th Cabinet meeting of his 2nd Term at Camp David.
Tax Cuts Results:
The Press Secretary submitted that a little more than a year after President Trump signed the Working Families Tax Cuts into law, this historic legislation continues to deliver on its promise, unleashing a genuine boom for American workers, families and small businesses.
Leavitt contended that this was the biggest tax refund season in American history with the average refund exceeding $3,400, an 11 percent increase over the last year. She added that B$82 were given in direct tax relief to beneficiaries, 97 percent of filers received a tax cut, and more that 29 million workers claimed no tax on overtime. More than 35 million seniors claimed no tax on Social Security and nearly 8 million workers claimed no tax on tips.
Questions from the press included subjects ranging from China allegedly stealing AI technology from the United States to Saudi Arabia’s Civil Nuclear Deal with the US.
The Press Secretary cited President Trump’s post on Truth Social that addressed the Deal. He underscored that the Civilian Deal is a Non-Enriched Deal and the caveat the president added to the deal was that approval was totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords.
