President Trump’s State Visit to China

US President Donald Trump touched down in Beijing, China on the evening of Wednesday May 13th for a two-day State visit, with his friend, President Xi Jinping of China.

Upon his arrival at the airport Chinese officials greeting President Trump and his delegation at the Beijing Capital International Airport, where the Chinese rolled out the red carpet with young people waving the US and Chinese flags.

Talks between the two sides are expected to range from internal domestic issues such as trade, and in regard to foreign policy, the US-Israel conflict with Iran which has severely impacted China’s national interest when not comes to importing oil from Iran.

On Tuesday, President Trump, in the Oval Office, revealed that he and President Xi were going to have a long talk about Iran. He added that China gets a lot of their oil from that area. He further predicted that this was going to be a very exciting trip.

For President Trump his stated policy concerning Iran is lucid. No nuclear weapons!

President Trump has Administration Officials traveling with him, including the Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. A number of CEOs from the private sector spanning technology to banking executives are all set to meet with their Chinese counterparts.
