On the 24th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack President Donald Trump had a very busy day. It followed the assassination of the Christian influencer Charlie Kirk, 31 years old. The founder of Turning Point USA who was murdered in Utah during an open-door event at the Utah Valley University on Wednesday September 10th.

On Wednesday, following the assassination of Kirk, President Trump called Charlie Kirk a Legendary, a truly Great American Patriot. He extended his and First Lady Melania sympathies to Kirk’s wife, and family.

Here is a highlight of some of the things President Trump did on September 11th.

In the White House Press Release, President Trump and First Lady solemnly commemorated at the Pentagon the 2,977 lives lost in the September 11, 2001. President Trump in a Truth Social Post made a solemn pledge and a noble promise: “we will honor – always – our Great Heroes…”

The White House in their Truth Social Post reported that President Trump signed a proclamation declaring September 11th as Patriot Day, 2025.

During his speech at the Pentagon, President Trump made a big announcement concerning his friend Charlie Kirk. He announced his intent to award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously.

President Trump also signed a proclamation honoring the memory of Charlie Kirk.

Then, before his departure from the White House for New York to attend the Yankees Game on 9/11, President Trump stopped for several minutes to speak with the White House Press Corps. He walked down the line pausing and answering questions.

President Trump emphasized that we have a great country. He underscored, “We have the radical left lunatics out there.” He also stated that Charlie Kirk was a great friend of his, he was a great man. The President’s message to young people across America was that they must to hang in there.

He also confirmed that Charlie was a big factor in helping him with the youth vote and expressed his plan to attend Charlie Kirk’s funeral.

Finally, Americans have experienced double grief, mourning 9/11 and now the assassination of Kirk on September 10, ‘25. The FBI continues to hunt for the shooter who killed Charlie Kirk. It was announced by the FBI in a Press Conference late Thursday night, that they were processing a large volume of forensic evidence and urged people to put down their phones and spend more time with their families. The FBI also assured that they will catch this person. An official informed that they were processing the paperwork to give the shooter the death penalty in the State of Utah.

The FBI showed a video of the assassin as he jumped down from a building to make his escape after the shooting of Kirk. The FBI asked for more tips from the public and warned against bots and disinformation.
